Lok Satta Party Launching Membership Drive

The Lok Satta Party is launching a membership drive from February 1 to 15 all over the State.

Disclosing this in a media statement, Lok Satta Party Working President D. V. V. S. Varma appealed to people to stop being bystanders and become partners with the Lok Satta in ushering in new politics.

He described the situation prevailing in the country as grim. Politics has become a synonym for loot and plunder. The rural economy is in shambles because of the neglect of agriculture. Youth are going without quality education and skills. Governments have emasculated local governments by denying them powers, responsibilities, resources, and personnel.

Mr. Varma appealed to people to strengthen the Lok Satta Party by becoming its members and contributing their mite since it is committed to ushering in citizen-oriented politics, ridding it of corruption.
