Dr. JP leading team to Select Committee on Lokpal Bill

A team of eminent Indian citizens led by Lok Satta Party national President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will convey its views and suggestions on the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Bill to the Select Committee of the Rajya Sabha in New Delhi on September 6.

Mr. Satyavrat Chaturvedi, Member of the Rajya Sabha, is heading the Select Committee.

The committee had invited Dr. JP representing the Foundation for Democratic Reforms and the Lok Satta to offer his views on the Bill.

The team calling on the Select Committee includes Mr. Arif Mohd. Khan (former union minister), Mr. K.N. Govindacharya (Save Democracy Front), Dr Ashwin Mahesh, (Lok Satta, Karnataka), Ms Ankita Verma (Lok Satta, Mumbai), Mr. Anurag Kejriwal (Lok Satta, Delhi), Mr. Senthil Kumar Arumugam (Lok Satta, Tamil Nadu), Mr. Sandeep Verma ( Lok Satta, Delhi), Mr. Surendra Srivastava (Lok Satta, Maharashtra), and Ms Tara Krishnaswamy (Lok Satta, Bangalore).
