Bid goodbye to traditional parties: Dr. JP

Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan admitted as many as 150 people from different areas of the city in the party today by saying that “the number of people thirsting for a change in the corrupt political culture has been growing day by day”.

Addressing them, Dr. JP said it was time the people bade goodbye to traditional parties, which have landed the country in a sorry mess. That a million youngsters applied for 850 odd Group IV posts in Andhra Pradesh mirrors the terrible unemployment problem.

Dr. JP pointed out that the window of opportunity for reversing the state of affairs in the country was gradually shutting. The people should act without losing further time as it involved their future. Pointing out that the silence of good people is more harmful than the deeds of evil people. Dr. JP called upon all people who detested politics of money and liquor to utilize the Lok Satta platform and join in the historic movement to change the course of politics.

Mr. Muralidhar, Mr. Sudhakar and others said that they had joined the Lok Satta believing that it alone could take the country forward. Party Secretary Bhaskara Rao and membership Coordinator D. Ananda Reddy were among those who took part in the function at the party headquarters.
