Lok Satta caution to Manda Krishna

The Lok Satta Party today cautioned MRPS President Mandakrishna Madiga against falling from the frying pan into fire by backing the Grand Alliance comprising the TDP, TRS and Left parties to defeat the Congress in the ensuing elections.

Talking to the media, party spokespersons V. Laxman Balaji and Mrs. K. Geeta Murthy said that having been let down by traditional parties, Mr. Manda Krishna Madiga should realize that a change of parties would not bring justice to weaker and downtrodden sections. They wanted him to focus on policies that would end discrimination against weaker sections once and for all. He should not emulate the Leftists who had once joined hands with the Congress to defeat the TDP and now with the TDP to defeat the Congress. Even the methods of agitation he followed resulted in violence and death of innocent people.

The Lok Satta leaders said that Mr. Manda Krishna Madiga should realize that justice could be rendered to Madigas and other downtrodden sections only when discrimination based on caste was ended.

  3. Anybody is welcome in joining with Loksatta, provided that they value the people of the country.

Loksatta never joins hands with any organization which follows violence or does illegal activities.

  4. It is not against to the alliance, provided the alliance seeking parties should follow some of the strict rules just for the better society and political reformation but not for the party's or individual purpose...
